Well, we still managed to stay on top, but that extra win would have been nice. The Titans kept up their end of the bargain, but I don’t know where the Jaguars went last night. They looked like mush. 3-2, barely keeps us happy.

Well, I hope you picked the teaser for the Pit/Cle game, as recommended. We had a winner there, along with the Under for the NO/TB game. And, we squeezed a win late in the game with the Jets -3. There was a terrible loss with the Falcons game, which I did not get to see, but I will have to spend time reviewing the stats on that game to see what happened. We are already ahead for the week, so tonight’s game may just be that “little something extra” to keep up extremely happy.

Week 5 Afternoon

Well, we have some evening out here, as the Saints and Chargers do not perform well at all. Luckily, we picked up our needed Titans win.

Solid: Titans

Miss: Saints, Chargers

Overall, we are up, but only by a small margin. It would have been nice to get one more game under the belt, but we take them where we can get them. This week is 4-3.

Week 5 Morning Games

Pretty good morning here. We hit 3 out of 4, and only need 1 more win in the afternoon to be up this week. Still crossing our fingers though because anything can happen. Chicago, straight up was a great pick as well. Unfortunately, the early San Diego numbers look terrible.

Solid: Jacksonville, Atlanta, Chicago

Miss: Baltimore/Denver Under 40

Note that the possible plays were not as bad as I expected. The StL/Det game would have been a push on your teaser. The NY Giants game was a win any way you slice it. The Bucs even managed a win, so the +7 was just gravy. But, the Bucs/Bengals game went over. The Possible Play record is 2-1-1. We could have pulled some money here as well, but I didn’t play a single one of these games. Maybe next week we will feel better about these.

Alright, week 5 is upon us and that means we have had a chance to gather data and see a few things begin to coalesce. The formatting has changed just slightly. If a game is not listed on my page/post, then it means it was a terrible play any way you can cut it. The information should be pretty damn straight forward, so get a move on it.

That was a blast. We end the season on a high note. We could not have asked for better performance after the lackluster first quarter. The Saints definitely deserved this game. As Brees stated, it was destiny, I suppose.

Well all, I had a great time this year and I hope you all stuck around and listened. The payoff this season was better than could be expected. For next season there will be a complete design overhaul. I will not be using wordpress as the site moves away from a simple blog.

I have some very interesting things coming. Keep your eyes peeled, and keep disciplined.

I am already seeing lines posting at 5-6 points. If you can snatch these up, take it now. Preliminary numbers show Saints with a 1-3 pt win, in my simulations. I see a very solid statistical outcome here.

For all those who caught the Vikings/Saints game, what can I say? Did we call it? Or, did we call it? OT, AND the Saints don’t cover. Scary. And for those who listened to my Colts/Jets over, you are definitely smiling as well. I admit, I got a bit skeptical of the Jets/Colts over, so I went with the teaser and BARELY covered (Jets +14 / Over 33). But what else is there to say? I can not wait for the Super Bowl between these two titans.

That was a great game.

These two teams are, statistically, evenly matched. The simulator is seeing almost a dead even game (maybe OT?) in most cases. The Vikings have a small advantage here (very small) and that might be offset by the fact that they are playing in NO territory. The only real advantage to playing at home is having a loud obnoxious fan-base, so if you are a Saints fan, you are hope that stadium goes bonkers. If I were a betting man, and I am, I would lay my money on the Vikings with the +4 points. As for the total points, I have to say that is not a favorable play. We are seeing average scores of 51 points, and the lines are hovering around 53. That is just too damn close.

Well, what do you wanna know? This is a similar matchup as last week’s game against the Chargers. The BIG difference here is the Indianapolis rushing defense is not as good as the Chargers. That being said, Indy showed they could stop a solid running offense when necessary (Balitmore). Statistically, this is not a good game to bet on. The range is large (Indy win to Jets win, 13 point range). Not a solid game here, but it is a slight advantage for the Jets, only because the lines are at +8. As for the total points, we have a similar situation, but a little more favorable, than the Vikings/Saints game. In this case, the over (39 points) is a little bit more favorable.
